RPC VISITS LOCAL LANDMARK FOR THE DAY
As many of you know, one of the odder tourist attractions here in Seattle is the Market Theatre Gum Wall. This rather lengthy portion of wall is located in Post Alley under Pike Market. The tradition began in 1993 when patrons of the theatre decided to appease their boredom in line by sticking chewed gum on the wall followed by coins. It didn’t take long before that wall, as well as the opposing...
RPC SUPPORTS LOCAL ANIMAL CONSERVATION AND...
Every winter the Puget Sound Chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers (PSAAZK) holds a Holiday Silent Auction, Bake Sale and Dinner to raise funds for their organization. This year the PSAAZK reached out to one Seattle painting contractor and that was Reed Painting Company. RPC was happy to support the non-profit organization by donating a “Painter for A Day” to the silent auction. One...

This day is quite different than every other day in the life of a 9 year old; thanks to the National Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day Hailey gets to join a parent at work, gaining valuable exposure to career options and in the process build self-confidence. ...

REED PAINTING COMPANY DONATES PAINT FOR LOCAL...
In April two local artists, Siolo Thompson and Maggie Schneider, dedicated their time and artistic talent to the Wallingford community. What once was a drab business exterior is now the “Wallingford Robot” mural. Reed Painting Company operates a recycled paint program which encourages local residents and businesses to donate their unused paint, which is then recycled, donated, and reused – and...

This past Sunday RPC and Second Use put on an event centered around a paint collection drive and painting workshop for homeowners. The workshop covered the basics of painting for a home owner/DIY painter.

QFC "Wallingford" Sign History Lesson
Green Man Holiday Lights (GMHL) got the call to light up the “Wallingford” sign atop the Wallingford QFC. It was a tricky install… but a good story in hind sight. Our customer didn’t want anything glued or permanently affixed to the sign, i.e. our trustee light clips. We thought we would use some industrial strength, rare earth magnets to attach the lights. Great...
